Last week, I received the New R+CO Oblivion clarifying shampoo in my Birchbox beauty subscription.

But hey! Who doesn’t want a beauty freebie?

Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised.

So I decided to give it a try, and here’s what happened …

Rinse
Follow up with a good conditioner

R&CO recommends their own conditioner as a good follow up, but seriously any conditioner will do.

I always recommend you use a conditioner after a clarifying shampoo to rebalance the pH of your hair.

So far, the R+CO Clarifying shampoo has worked really well for me. I haven’t used up the whole bottle yet, but I am pretty sure there won’t be any unexpected surprises.

Since it’s chemical-free without any sulfates and parabens, this shampoo deserves a spot on my bathroom shelf.

I always dig deep into online customer reviews to check if a product is worth buying.

At first glance, it seems R+CO does have a happy customer base.

Most people love it for its deep cleansing and sweet-smelling formula, which is pretty much what this shampoo is all about.

Customers say that they can go longer without washing their hair which is pretty cool.

My understanding is that if a shampoo does not strip natural oils from your scalp, then your scalp does not trigger oils to rebalance itself. Which means less oiliness, and less need to wash. Makes complete sense.
