About Us

We believe hair care should be simple and fun.

But we also understand that every head of hair is different.

And that’s before you even think about products!

Our mission is to take the guesswork out of finding the optimum hair care and recovery routine for everyone. We want to make it easy for you by providing clear, concise, and up-to-date information that cuts through the noise and gets you the results you want.

We are here to empower you with the knowledge and tools you need to achieve your hair goals. No matter what your circumstances.

Our blog has been reader-supported ever since it existed, and without your readership and support, we wouldn’t be where we are today.

So thank you for being a part of our community!

Now, pull up a chair, grab a cup of coffee (or wine – we won’t judge!), and get to know a bit more about us and the team that works relentlessly to keep this project going.

Our Story

It all started with Shehnaz, the co-founder, who relocated permanently from the Middle East to London. While living in London, she noticed her hair didn’t feel the same. A combination of the weather, hard water, and using different products had completely changed her hair texture, and she started to experience regular breakage, frizz, and dullness within months!

That’s when she started to realize the frustrations and unseen damages that women in different parts of the world experience with their hair on a daily basis.

After doing some research, she discovered a lack of relatable content that would solve her hair woes. In fact, she found pretty much most of the answers buried in Reddit threads.

That was the trigger. The idea was born to build a resource that shares relatable hair problems in an easy-to-access personal blog that later expanded into much more.

Our Goal

This blog aims to provide simple, actionable, and relatable hair tips that everyone can use. We are on a mission to organize the online world of haircare into an easy-to-use, easy-to-understand, and super-reliable resource on the Internet.

We use local hairstylists and online communities to source and validate our content. We also actively talk to brands and suppliers. Sometimes we get products for free, which is great, but most times, we buy the products so that we can judge for ourselves.

We want to help you by digging out relevant information, digesting millions of reviews, and trying tons of products (paid and free) to put the best options forward so that you don’t end up wasting your money and, most importantly, enjoy the journey towards achieving easy to manage and effortlessly flawless hair!
